The Leadership Engagement
For people building their leadership skills: experienced managers and senior leaders growing into a bigger role or leading through change.
€3,000for six months: eight sessions, or three payments of €1,000
- Length
- Eight 90 minute sessions over six months
- Payment
- Payable when you book. One payment, or three of €1,000.
Who it is for
You already lead people. The role has grown, or is about to, or you are leading through a change that will test you and your team. You want a structured space to work on how you lead, over long enough for it to show.
What is included
Eight 90 minute sessions over six months, fortnightly at first and then monthly, and:
- Structured 360 feedback gathered at the start from your manager, peers and team
- A written mid-point review
- Messaging access between sessions
- A written close-out
How it runs
The start
I gather structured feedback from your manager, peers and team, so the map of your situation is built on more than your own view. We use it to set what the six months are for.
The middle
Fortnightly sessions while there is most to work on, then monthly. At the mid-point I write a short review of progress against what we set out to do.
The close
A written close-out: what changed, what is next, and what to keep doing.
Paying
€3,000, or three payments of €1,000. Payable when you book; if you would rather pay by bank transfer, say so and I will send an invoice instead. Each instalment is a dated invoice.
When the programme ends, you can continue with Coaching Sessions at an alumni rate of €160 a session.
For employers
If your employer is paying, we start with a three-way agreement with your sponsor, and agree the objectives up front. The sponsor gets progress against those objectives, not the content of our sessions. The price is the same, and I can send a proposal on request.
Questions people ask
Who is The Leadership Engagement for?
Experienced managers and senior leaders whose role has grown, or who are leading through a change. You already lead people, and you want to work on how you do it over long enough for the change to show.
How does the 360 feedback work?
At the start I gather structured feedback from your manager, peers and team, and you agree who is asked. I share it with you summarised and anonymised, so no comment can be traced to the person who made it, and we use it to set what the six months are for.
Why six months?
Because changing how you lead takes repetition. Fortnightly sessions at the start give us room to work on the hard things, and monthly sessions later let you practise in between and bring back what happened.
Is it confidential if my employer pays?
Yes. Your sponsor gets progress against the objectives we agree together in a three-way conversation at the start, and the mid-point review as agreed. They do not get the content of our sessions or of the feedback.
The first step
Start with a Discovery Session
It is a conversation, not a sales call. If I am not the right coach for what you need, I will say so and point you to someone who is.
-
Discovery Session
We talk about where you are and what you want to change.
-
Proposal
A short written proposal: the package, what we will work on, dates and price.
-
Start
We agree the dates and begin.
