The Next Move: Career Transition Coaching

Who it is for

People about to manage for the first time, new and recent managers, and experienced professionals between roles. You have a specific move to make, and you want to make it well rather than just get through it.

What is included

Six 60 minute sessions over twelve weeks, and:

A transition map of your situation, built in the first session
A workbook between sessions
Messaging access between sessions
A written 90 day plan you leave with

In the first session we build your transition map. Then we choose the track together.

Stepping up

Your first management role, from before you start through your first year, including your first 90 days. New to managing? Read how to start well.

Starting well

You have been promoted, moved sideways, or joined a new employer. Read how to use your first 90 days.

Paying

€1,200, or two payments of €600. Payable when you book; if you would rather pay by bank transfer, say so and I will send an invoice instead. Each instalment is a dated invoice.

When the programme ends, you can continue with Coaching Sessions at an alumni rate of €160 a session.

For employers

The Next Move is also available to employers in two forms: as new-manager coaching for learning and development teams, and as individual outplacement support for someone leaving the organisation. The price is the same.

Which track is right for me?

We decide together in the first session, once we have built your transition map. As a rough guide: Stepping up if you are about to manage or in your first year, Landing the next role if you are looking, and Starting well if you have just started something new.

What happens between sessions?

You work through the workbook, and you can message me when something comes up, such as an interview, a difficult conversation or an offer. Each session picks up from where the map and the workbook have taken you.

Is The Next Move right for me if I'm between roles?

Yes. The Landing the next role track is built for that: your story, your CV and LinkedIn, interviews and the offer. If you have just been laid off, the Discovery Session is a good place to work out whether now is the right time to start.

Can my employer pay for it?

Yes, at the same price. Employers use The Next Move as new-manager coaching and as individual outplacement support. There is more on the For organisations page.
