Who it is for
Some things do not need a programme. You have an offer to weigh, a conversation to prepare for, a restructure to respond to, or a choice you keep putting off. The Sounding Board gives it 90 minutes with someone who has done this work for thirty years and has no stake in what you decide. It is more advisory than coaching: I will tell you what I see, test your options and give you my view, and the decision stays yours.

What happens in The Sounding Board?
You send a short written brief beforehand, then we spend 90 minutes online thinking the challenge through together. Afterwards I send a written summary with the options, my view and your next steps, and we have a 30 minute follow-up call three weeks later.
What kind of challenge is it good for?
One with a clear question at its centre: an offer to weigh, a conversation to prepare for, a restructure to respond to, or a choice you keep putting off. If the question is bigger than one challenge, such as what you want from the next few years, The Next Move is usually the better fit.
How is it different from coaching?
Coaching mostly helps you find your own answer. Here I also give you mine: what I see, what I would weigh, and what I have seen work. You still decide.
Can one session really help?
For a single, well-defined challenge, yes. Much of the value comes from the brief you write beforehand and from having someone with no stake in the outcome test your thinking. The follow-up call is there to check how it has held up.
What if I want to keep going afterwards?
The fee is credited against The Next Move or The Leadership Engagement if you continue within 30 days, so you do not pay for the same ground twice.
